Football & Education Programme
The Woking FC Football & Education Programme provides a high-quality football and education pathway for young people who are keen to continue developing both as players and as individuals. Built on strong professional standards and a clear development philosophy, the programme offers a supportive and challenging environment that helps participants grow in confidence, character, and commitment.
Our programme combines structured coaching, competitive playing opportunities, and a balanced education pathway, ensuring players receive excellent support both on and off the pitch. Sessions are delivered by qualified and experienced coaches who place a strong emphasis on skill development, game understanding, physical wellbeing, and positive mindset, while recognising that each participant’s journey is unique.
Within the programme, we believe in developing well-rounded young people. Players are encouraged to demonstrate discipline, resilience, and responsibility while embracing the values of teamwork, respect, and professionalism. The programme promotes positive attitudes and behaviours that support success in education, sport, and future careers.
The programme is more than just football. It is a pathway that supports ambition, learning, and personal development, helping young people build strong foundations for their next steps in sport, education, and life.
The Football & Education Programme players benefit from a structured football and education programme that combines high-quality coaching with personal and academic development. Players train three times per week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, receiving consistent support from experienced coaches who focus on skill development, game understanding, physical wellbeing, and positive performance habits. On the pitch, players compete in the Tactics League on Fridays, providing regular, meaningful match experiences that reinforce learning from training sessions. These fixtures offer a competitive yet supportive environment in which players can apply their skills, develop confidence, and continue their football journey through consistent game time.
Education remains a central part of the programme, with timetables carefully planned to complement football commitments. Players are supported in their studies through partnerships with education provider Juniper Training, ensuring they follow a balanced pathway that promotes academic achievement alongside sporting development.
