Academy
Developing the next generation
Woking FC Academy is a National League licensed academy. We aim to develop each and every player to reach their full potential, instilling ambition and a professional attitude. We work as closely as possible to Category 3 Academy standards, creating a professional environment in which players thrive.
Notable academy graduates in include Woking legends Craig Ross and Joe McNerney, Ollie Palmer (Wrexham), Jayden Wareham (Wycombe) and most recently Jack Matton (Wycombe) and Marco Underwood (Fulham).
Our youth academy starts with our foundation phase, and progresses all the way up to our u16 boys and girls teams who compete in the junior premier league, teams train for 2.5 hours a week over two sessions. The Boys then progress into our scholarship programme which then feeds into the elite development squad, which acts as a feeder to the first team. We have recently seen first team contracts awarded to Tom Dryer, Kemall Wilson and Mikey Verga.
We are looking to launch our girls scholarship programme in the coming seasons.

A Pathway to senior football
Our academy is designed to provide player with a clear pathway through each stage of their development. Players are supported through individual development, high quality coaching and competitive football, with opportunities to progress into higher level environments when ready.
Football & Education
Our scholarship programme combines full time football with education, giving players the opportunity to work towards their academic qualifications while pursuing their football ambitions.
Players experience a professional football environment while developing the skills, knowledge and behaviours required for life beyond the pitch.
