The Martin Tyler Performance Centre

Our state-of-the-art 3G pitch inside Woking College provides a high-quality, all-weather playing surface, allowing football to take place throughout the year, whatever the conditions.

Ahead of the 2026 football season, the facility was reopened and officially named the Martin Tyler Performance Centre, recognising the incredible contribution of legendary football commentator and lifelong Woking supporter Martin Tyler to the club and the wider football community.

The facility provides an excellent environment for football at all levels, from grassroots and academy training through to competitive fixtures. The modern 3G surface offers a safe, consistent and high-quality playing environment, helping players and teams maximise their development and performance.

Facilities

The Martin Tyler Performance Centre provides a range of facilities for players, coaches and spectators, including:

• State-of-the-art 3G football pitch

• Toilet facilities for players and spectators

• Changing rooms, available when booked alongside the pitch

Footwear Guidance

To protect the quality of the playing surface and ensure the safety of all participants, players must wear plastic moulded football studs when using the pitch.

Metal studs, screw-in studs and blades are not permitted, as these can damage the playing surface and potentially increase the risk of injury.

Please ensure all players, coaches and officials arrive at the Martin Tyler Performance Centre wearing the appropriate footwear.
